This is the Thursday League's web page all results & information will
be on this site , there is no longer a Sports Mail , it is your
responsibility to look at this site & keep up to date with what's going
on in The Thursday Treble League's , there is FREE internet access at
all Library's throughout the City & help is available for people not
familiar with computers or how to use the Internet .

phone leaving a mobile contact number , we will not return calls to
mobile telephone numbers.
Strict measurements for the Premier League , height of the board 5ft
8in. to the centre of the bull & a throw of 7ft 9 1/4 in. any team not
wishing to play by these measurements will be relegated below Division 2
at the end of the season .
League
Premier League
3 Team Games of 1001, home team to throw for the Bull first in each leg.
5 Individual matches best of 5 x 501, home team to throw for the bull,
winner of the bull will throw first in legs 1-3-5.
Divisions 2 & 3
3 Team Games of 1001, home team to throw for the Bull first in each leg.
5 Individual matches best of 3 x 501, home team to throw for the bull,
winner of the bull will throw first in legs 1-3.
Divisions 4 & 5
3 Team Games of 1001, home team to throw for the Bull first in each leg.
5 Individual matches 1 leg of 501, home team to throw for the bull,
winner of the bull will throw first.
If teams are tied on points , positions
will be decided on match results against each other , In the event of
them still being tied the team winning the most League Matches will be
places 1st if they are still tied a playoff will take place Cup Format
rules will apply.

The Cup
All teams play for 7 points 2 team games of 1001 & 5 Individuals, the
Cup will consist of 2 mini Leagues with the first 2 in each League going
into the Cup Semi Finals , Winner of Group A will play the Runner Up in
Group B , Winner of Group B will play the Runner Up in Group A
Cup games cannot be cancelled or re-arranged , they must be played on
the specified day of the Cup Rounds.
( rule to be amended
after this season has finished , Cup Games cannot be cancelled &
rearranged for after the specified date but can be played before that
date if any team cannot play the game on the specified Cup day ).
Any team not completing their Cup Fixtures
will not be allowed to enter a player in the same seasons Individuals ,
Pairs & Triples KO's & will not be entered in next seasons Cup.
All points will become void if a team doesn't
complete their Cup Fixtures.
In the event of 2 teams not completing
their Cup Fixtures in the same Mini League all points & results will
become void & the 4 remaining teams will go into a draw for a straight
KO , both winners will go into the Semi Finals both losers will be
eliminated from the Cup .
Premier League Cup

winner of the bull will throw first in legs 1-3-5.
Divisions 2 & 3 Cup
2 Team Games only of 1001, home team to throw for the Bull first in each
leg.
5 Individual matches best of 3 x 501, home team to throw for the bull,
winner of the bull will throw first in legs 1-3.
Divisions 4 & 5 Cup
2 Team Games only of 1001, home team to throw for the Bull first in each
leg.
5 Individual matches 1 leg of 501, home team to throw for the bull,
winner of the bull will throw first.
If teams are tied on points in the Cup Groups , positions will be
decided on match results against each other , In the event of them still
being tied ( & that is possible ) the team winning the most Cup matches
in their Group will qualify .

Individuals , Pairs & Triples
Entry into the Triples £3 per team - Pairs £2 per team - Individual £1
each , pay on the night
Premier League , Individuals will be best of 5x501 , Pairs 5x501 &
Triples 5x701
Divisions 2-5 , Individuals will be 3 x 501, Pairs will be 3 x 501 &
Triples will be 3 x 701 Legs .
Players in the Pairs & Triples don't have to partner their team mates ,
Divisions 4 & 5 can mix their teams , Divisions 2 & 3 can mix their
teams , Pairs & Triples from Divisions 2-3-4-5 can all enter the Premier
Pairs & Triples if they want too .
Individual , Pairs or Triple teams can enter any KO above their League
but cannot move down to a Lower Divisions KO .

1 - Captains will be responsible for their own scorecards & their points
scored
DO NOT GIVE THEM TO THE OPPOSITIONS CAPTAIN TO SEND IN
some Captains don't send in scorecards , scorecards not returned
to the Secretary within 2 weeks of the game being played , will become
void & that team will score zero points from that game & receive no
Individual wins .
2 - If a game cannot be played Individual wins will not be awarded .
3 - All games will be played , any team failing to turn up for a
re-arranged game will score zero points , average points will be
awarded to the other team . In
the event of both teams failing to turn up for a game a 4-4 draw will be
awarded.
4 - If a team doesn't give 24 hrs notice to cancel a game then the
opposition have the right to claim maximum points of 8 but no Individual
Wins will be awarded for that game .
5 - If both teams turn up and one team is short of players any player
drawing the bye in his / her individual game will get 1pt awarded for
the team but will not be allowed to claim an individual win .
6 - No team will claim an 8-0 win in the last game of the season & win
promotion through it , if that game is not played average points will be
given .
7 - Any team refusing promotion will forfeit all trophies & prize money
.
8 - New teams entering the League will start in a Division below the
Premier League .
9 - Anyone cheating in the Thursday League will be banned .
10 - When throwing for the bullseye to decide who throws first in the
team games or individuals, if both players hit a bullseye both players
will re-throw to determine who throws first . If a bullseye or 25 is hit
, the opponent can ask for the dart to be removed so he/she can have a
clear view of the target .
11 - Players will be given the opportunity to move to another team , not
to a team in the same Division though , they will be Cup Tied if they
have played for another team in the Cup & must play in The Individual ,
Pairs & Triples Division they left.
11 - ( rule to be amended
after this season has finished ,
Players will be given the
opportunity to move to another team , if they move to a team in the same
Division , they will be Cup Tied if they have played for another team in
the Cup and must get permission from the opposing team captain
before being allowed to play , players must play in The Individual ,
Pairs & Triples Division they left ) .
12 - A player cannot play for more than one team at the same time &
cannot play for a second team without first leaving the team he/she has
signed for. Any team playing a player who is currently still playing for
another team will forfeit the match 8-0 & lose all their Individual
wins, all captains are responsible for checking the eligibility of a
player before signing them .
13 - Players leaving the League will not be allowed to play in the
Individual - Pairs & Triples KO's or at Finals Night .
14 - New players can now be signed at any time during the season .
15 - Players must have competed in 25% ( 7 games ) of League & Cup
matches to qualify for playing in any Final , playing ONE game in a
season will not qualify any player to play in the Individuals - Pairs &
Triples Finals or Cup Semi Finals & Finals .
16 - If a team changes venue at any time during a season , it is the
team captains responsibility to contact the League Secretary & all the
team captains in their League of the change , failing to do this will
result in a loss of their points if the away team fail to attend their
new darts venue .
17 - Teams or Individuals not turning up at Presentation Night will
forfeit all Prize Monies & Trophies , unless they send another
representative to collect them , any Prize Monies unclaimed will go back
into the Thursday League .
18 - Any complaints must be put in writing to the Secretary .
19 - Match to start at 9-00 pm.
20 - 1st & 2nd will be promoted, Bottom 2 will be relegated .
